Bodybuilding Uses For Albuterol

Albuterol, also known as salbutamol, is a drug that people can administer to relax their airways and treat asthma. It is used to prevent and treat a variety of breathing issues, like coughing, wheezing, and chest tightness caused by asthma and other airway-related issues. Along with airway-related issues, albuterol is used to treat muscle paralysis.

In bodybuilding , albuterol can be administered for fat burning, and is also an effective steroid for gaining lean muscle mass. While it can work well for the purposes of an effective workout, the methodology of its function best serves for fat burning, which classifies it (for the purposes of exercise and health in those without bronchial issues or paralysis) as a weight loss drug. Like any other drug or steroid, dosages will vary from person to person and between genders, and should be administered (for the purposes of weight loss or building muscle mass) by a professional who can accurately dose you based on your unique body type, weight, gender, and other variables.



Albuterol is most commonly found in inhalers and to use it, patients inhale it through the mouth. Originally coming as a liquid, it turns into a mist and is transferred through the inhaler to the patient’s mouth. The solution should be used whenever needed to relieve chest tightness and coughing. Use albuterol as directed and do not take more or less than what your doctor recommends.

If you do happen to miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember that you have missed it. If you miss it and it is almost time for the next dose, do not double up on doses, as it can be physically harmful. Do not take a double dose in order to make up for the missed one, even if it sounds like a good idea.

While Albuterol is very helpful in many ways, there are also some side effects that can arise due to constant use. Some side effects include uncontrollable shaking, headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, and fits of coughing. You can also experience the swelling of the feet, hands, ankles, and throat, as well as difficulty swallowing and hoarseness of the voice. A doctor should be notified if there are any other side effects not listed or if the listed symptoms intensify.

Albuterol should be kept in the container it came in and should not be moved to another means of storage. Keep it out of the hands of children and be sure to completely close the container. Store the medicine at room temperature, as well as away from heat and moisture. Many people store it in the cabinets of kitchens or bathrooms, but this is not recommended. If you are no longer using the medicine or if the medicine has expired, dispose of it and do not continue to use it. Take it to a medical professional who knows how to dispose of it instead of disposing of it yourself.

Overdoses can occur if too much medicine is taken at one time and can lead to a possible death. If a family member or someone close to you is currently taking albuterol as a means to treat airway-related issues, here are symptoms of overdose to look out for: chest pain, a fast or irregular heartbeat, intense headaches, lack of energy for several days, nervousness, seizures, and nausea. If a family member has collapsed or is not breathing due to an overdose, immediately call emergency services to treat them.

While this medicine is suitable for many, do not let other people take your medicine, as it might have unseen effects on their body. When it eventually runs out, be sure to dispose of the canister properly and do not re-use the empty canister. Safely dispose of the canister or let your doctor dispose of it. As an aerosol spray, using it around an open flame or a heat source is not recommended. When using the medication, take caution and try to keep it out of your eyes. If you do get it in your eyes, immediately flush it out with water and seek medical treatment.

When using this medicine, it is important that you get your prescription refilled by a doctor before you run out completely. If you use it every day and do not get your prescription filled until after it runs out, you could cause a decline in your health and an increase in discomfort until it is filled.

If you are pregnant, tell your doctor, as it is not known if albuterol can pass into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. To be on the safe side, do not breastfeed while taking albuterol for the purpose of bodybuilding, for any restrictive airway disease, or any other reason. In terms of children, albuterol should not be given to children younger than two years of age unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, and children who are old enough to use albuterol should be supervised closely during the initial two-week period of dosing.

If you suffer from restricted airways, pain in the chest, mild muscle paralysis, or uncontrollable fits of coughing, your doctor might recommend using albuterol to relieve you. Likewise, for those trying to gain muscle mass or lose weight quickly and effectively, albuterol can be a great choice, but those using this steroid should be watched closely, especially during the initial onset of usage.

As we start the New Year, Steroidology takes a look back at the important scientific studies of 2011 that will impact the way we get in shape in 2012 and beyond. Important studies into weight loss, anti-aging, muscle growth and supplements top this year’s list.

 #1 Winning with whey’s protein power

In the September issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, two studies were published that proved what bodybuilders and gym rats have known for a long time – whey protein builds muscle.

The independent studies showed that subjects who ingested whey protein shakes immediately after workouts, showed significantly more muscle mass gains than those who took no protein. These studies also investigated how protein should be ingested after a workout, showing that a large single dose immediately after workouts is far superior to taking small doses over time after workouts. The results showed that consuming whey protein after workouts increased muscle protein synthesis by 33 percent.

#2 Gene tweaking creates mighty mice

The days of taking a pill to become fit without working out are nearly upon us. A joint study by the Salk Institute and two Swiss institutes found a way to manipulate the genome in mice, making them twice as strong without exercise. The scientists were able to locate a genetic inhibitor that may be responsible for deciding our strength. The genome NCoR1 regulates how large our muscles grow and by blocking it, the mice were able to grow muscles twice their normal size.

So far, the science has only worked by manipulating the genes of mice embryos, however the researchers have found no side effects from tweaking the NCoR1 inhibitor and are working on developing chemicals that will act to suppress it in grown adults. This research, besides making us all ripped, can also be used to treat muscular dystrophy and other muscle degenerating diseases.

#3 Human enzyme creates skinny mice

A recent study at Brown University found that the human IKKbeta enzyme increased metabolism and burned fat at prosing levels when introduced to mice. The mice that were engineered to express the human enzyme ate more but gained less weight than the control group of mice who did not receive the enzyme. In addition, the mice with the IKKbeta enzyme had improved insulin function. The study proved that obesity is the main cause of insulin resistance and that the IKKbeta enzyme aids in metabolism. It also discovered that IKKbeta might only effect unwanted fat tissue and not affect other important fat tissues such as the ones found in the liver. These finding are new and research into developing a weight loss drug based on the IKKbeta enzyme are a long way off, but for those seeking a pill to improve metabolism and prevent diabetes, this is a promising lead.

#4 Turning back the clock on your aging body

Two studies published last year backup the claims of many anti-aging experts and give hope and proof to men who want to stay fit for life. The first study looked into the effects of testosterone levels in aging men. The study, published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, found that men over 65 who had more testosterone lost less muscle mass than those with low levels of testosterone. The study looked at 1,183 men over a period of four and a half years. Lead author of the study Erin LeBlanc, MD concluded that the study “adds evidence to the growing body of literature that suggests higher levels of endogenous testosterone may be favorably associated with some key components of healthy aging men.”

The second study, by the KG Jebsen Center of Exercise in Medicine at Norwegian University, found that exercise plays a more important role in health than age. The study followed physically active 50-year-olds and inactive 20-somethings. The study concluded that by increasing exercise, older men could beat back the metabolic syndromes that lead to diabetes, stroke and heart problems. Other findings in the study show that workout intensity is more important than duration and that inactivity for periods of time as a young adult can affect future health greater than previously thought.

#5 Chew your way to loosing weight

A study done by Syracuse University chemist Robert Doyle found that a certain hormone that tells the body that it has a full belly could be ingested orally. The study, published in the online version of the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, showed that the PYY hormone that is responsible for telling the brain when to stop eating can be ingested into the bloodstream when it is attached to molecules of vitamin B12. The next step is to make a chewing gum or oral tablet that can be used by people who need help loosing weight. And there you have it – possibly the first real fitness product

As one of the building blocks for the illegal street drug methamphetamine, ephedrine has had its fair share of public relations woes. On its own, however, ephedrine is a mild stimulant similar to caffeine. Its purpose in bodybuilding and training for athletics is to help burn off unwanted body fat. It is also helpful in increasing the strength of skeletal muscle. Side effects of ephedrine use resemble those of Clenbuterol or stimulants like caffeine – insomnia, restlessness, loss of appetite, etc.

Ephedrine is a stimulant drug, belonging to a group of medicines known as sympathomimetics. Specifically it is both an alpha and beta adrenergenic agonist (you may remember Clenbuterol is a selective beta-2 agonist). In addition, ephedrine enhances the release of norepinephrine, a strong endogenous alpha agonist. The action of this compound is notably similar to that of the body’s primary adrenergic hormone epinephrine (adrenaline), which also exhibits action toward both alpha and beta receptors. When administered, ephedrine will notably increase the activity of the central nervous system, as well as have a stimulatory effect on other target cells. This will produce a number of effects beneficial to the athlete. For starters, the user’s body temperature should rise slightly as more free fatty acids are produced from the breakdown of triglycerides in adipose tissue (stimulating the metabolism). This should help the user shed subcutaneous body fat stores, enhancing the look of definition in the physique. The anabolic effectiveness of steroids may also be increased with this substance (mildly), as the metabolic rate is a measure of fat, protein and carbohydrate conversion by the body. An enhanced metabolic state could clearly hasten the deposit of new muscle mass.

This stimulant effect of this drug will also increase the force of skeletal muscle contractions. For this reason ephedrine is commonly used by powerlifters before a competition, as the resultant (slight) strength and energy increase can clearly improve the weight totals on major lifts. It may also provide a notable mental edge, as the user is more energetic and better able to concentrate on the tasks ahead. Many recreational weight lifters find this effect particularly welcome, and use 25-50mg of this stimulant as a regular adjunct to their training sessions. The user often feels capable of attacking the weights with much more intensity while taking ephedrine, and leaves the gym knowing they will have had a more productive workout. It is important that this compound not be used continuously for this purpose, as its effect will diminish as the body becomes accustomed to the drug. In most instances the user will take the drug only two or three times per week, usually on those days personally “important” (like chest day). The athlete is also wise to take a break (one to two months) from ephedrine treatment after several weeks have past, so as to continue receiving the optimal effect from this drug. While the strength boosting effect of this drug is noteworthy, the primary application for ephedrine remains to be as a cutting agent. The athlete will generally take this drug a few times daily during dieting phases of training, at a dosage of 25 to 50mg per application. The widely touted stack of ephedrine (25-50mg), caffeine (200mg) and aspirin (300mg) is shown to be extremely potent for fat loss. In this combination, the ephedrine and caffeine both act as notable thermogenic stimulants. The added aspirin also helps to inhibit lipogenesis by blocking the incorporation of acetate into fatty acids. The athlete will be sure this stack is working by noticing an increase in body temperature, usually a degree or so (not an uncomfortable raise). This combination is taken two to three times daily, for a number of consecutive weeks. It is discontinued once the user’s body temperature drops back to normal, a clear sign these drugs are no longer working as desired. At this point increasing the dosages would not prove very efficient. Instead a break of several weeks should be taken, so that this stack may once again work at an optimal level.

Ephedrine can produce a number of unwelcome side effects that the user should be aware of. For starters, the stimulant effect can produce shaky hands, tremors, sweating, rapid heartbeat, dizziness and feelings of inner unrest. Often these effects subside as the user becomes more accustomed to the effect of this drug, or perhaps the dosage is lowered. In general, those negatively impacted by caffeine would probably not like the stronger effects of ephedrine. The mental and physical state produced by this drug is also quite similar to that seen with Clenbuterol, so those who find little discomfort with this treatment should (presumably) be fine with this item (and vice versa). While taking this drug one may also endure a notable loss of appetite, usually a welcome effect when dieting. Ephedrine is in fact a popular ingredient in combination (prescription) appetite suppressants. The user may further notice headaches and an increase in blood pressure with regular use of ephedrine. Those suffering from thyroid dysfunctions, high blood pressure or cardiac irregularities should also not be taking this drug, as it will certainly not mix well with such conditions.

As of late there is much discussion about the future availability of ephedrine. This is due to that fact that ephedrine tablets are used as the primary base for the manufacture of methamphetamine. This is you know is an illegal drug, made and sold illicitly. The structure of these two compounds is notably similar, as only a few chemicals are needed to change ephedrine into “meth”. Since ephedrine is currently an over-the-counter product, underground manufacturers can easily obtain it. A trend involving large volume retail purchases for OTC ephedrine products has been developing, and many states are taking notice of it. With the widespread increase of amphetamine addiction (and related crime) ephedrine may soon join the list of federally controlled substances. While some states have already taken action to restrict the sale of this stimulant, federal action would probably be required in order have a major impact on availability. Even if a particular state is aggressively preventing the sale of these products, a thriving mail-order market still exists to fill the demand. Thumbing through the back pages of many national magazines should make this clear, as we notice advertisements for companies which ship ephedrine tablets out by the thousand.


Triacana is an over-the-counter thyroid hormone that is beneficial for its fat-burning characteristics. Although not as potent as its black market counterparts, T3 and T4, Triacana can still cause some major side effects to the body’s natural thyroid hormones.

Another disadvantage to taking Tricana rather than its more potent counterparts is that you have to take several tablets (up to 14) per day to make any real difference. Aside from it being weaker and possibly just as harmful as T3 and T4, Triacan’s availability makes it a popular fat-burning agent used by athletes for obtaining a cut look.

Libriol is a hybrid compound of nandrolone and methandriol, with most of its positive effects coming from the nandrolone. Noandrolone promotes muscle growth, reduces pain in the joints, increases red blood cells in the body and decreases body fat. Nandrolone converts to estrogen at a low rate making side effects such as water-retention, acne and hair loss minimal. It does lower the body’s natural ability to produce testosterone and may cause testicular atrophy and sexual dysfunction. Methandriol, by comparison, has little anabolic effect in the body. It does, however, promote a stronger immune system. Methandriol also will cause estrogenic effects in the body such as water-retention, acne, etc. It has also shown to increase blood pressure.


Sanabolicum (nandrolone cyclohexylpropionate)

A rare and exotically estered version of nandrolone, Sanabolicum is a powerful anabolic steroid that delivers high gains, while promoting fat loss and improved immune system to boot. Because of its ester, Sanabolicum will last in the body and will only need to be injected once or twice a week.

Relative safety is also a major plus to Sanabolicum because it aromatizes in the body at only 20 percent the level of testosterone. Heavy usage, however, can still lead to estrogenic effects such as gynocomastia and water-retention.

Anabolicum Vister, sold as the drug Quinbolone, is an oral steroid compound designed to be non-toxic to the liver. Unfortunately, positive results are only experienced with high doses and it is much more effective to shoot a similar compound, such as Boldenone.

Although you need high doses, Anabolic Vister will still produce some results in muscle gain, fat loss and even bolster red cell production and without the toxic effect on the liver and minimal conversion to estrogen.


The Truth about How to Really Lose Bodyfat

A famous adult film producer once said, that body fat looks bad on both men and women. So bad, the advertising and entertainment industries avoid even covering people with excess bodyfat. A bad body speaks for you without you even saying a word. It says, ” I am too lazy to exercise, my life a boring one of inactivity, I possess inferior genetics and I have so many issue’s disturbing me I rely on food because it’s my only source of control and pleasure, I’m such a jolly person I won’t take offense if you mock me. ” Whatever you do, or wherever you go, extra body fat will cause people to judge you and treat you differently. There’s a reason as to why weight is such an insecurity on people, and untill you take control of your body, your life will be one of compromise.

1) Differentiate between fat and lean mass: You want to lose fat and only fat. In the process you want to keep on as much muscle as possible, if anything you want to try to put on a few pounds of muscle. A scale doesn’t know the difference, and it will only deceive you. So don’t use a scale, as it will mess your mind.

2) Don’t compare your body against others:, and don’t envy those with better genetics. Genetics are the result of hard work. Good genetics is a sign that their ancestors were very selective about who they put out to. That hard work and dedication passed itself on to the next generation.

3) Set realistic goals: Don’t set your goal to lose weight, set your goal to get healthier. Instead of striving to lose twenty pounds, strive to run a five minute mile, and in the process of getting there, your dream body will creep up behind you from out of nowhere.

You have a four avenues of choice in implementing your plan, choose wisely: 1) Exercise 2) Eat Better 3) Take Drugs


Torture yourself on the aerobics: Aerobics aren’t supposed to be fun. They are supposed to be painful. You should dread having to do them. The only pleasure you should get out of them is finishing them. Ideally your heart should be pounding, you should be covered in sweat, you should be out of breath, your legs should be sore, and your throat should feel like it’s on fire ( that’s a sign that your thyroid gland is being stimulated, and your metabolism is about to increase ). If you can’t get all those feelings together, then it means you’re lazy, not pushing yourself hard enough, and not deserving of the body you desire. For the sake of getting in shape and raising your metabolism, it’s better to put out ten intense minutes of hell running up a steep hill then an hour of leisure time behind a stair master. Quality, not quantity is the key. Don’t make any excuses about yourself either. Olympic and professional wrestling legend Kurt Angle, even with a heart condition managed to win gold medals in Atlanta, he would train by doing wind sprints up a hill while carrying his trainer over his shoulders!

Wake up early: If you go running first thing in the morning you’ll be more likely to burn off pure fat. Usually one doesn’t burn fat untill after they deplete their carbohydrate supply. When you go for a run first thing in the morning, glycogen levels are low, there’s no carbohydrates in the digestive tract, and the bodies hormones are at the state where they are ready to burn away fat.

Hit the weights: Lifting weights and doing aerobics together have a synergetic effect of burning more calories then doing the two individually.Muscle makes body fat tighter and more beautiful. Extra muscle has the added benefit of increasing the metabolism.Ten pounds of muscle can burn 500 – 1000 extra calories a day !  That’s exactly why those who are healthy can usually eat whatever they want with impunity. If you rough out a diet for a few months, you can get to that level, and stay at that level for the rest of your life. Increasing your strength will not ruin your endurance or physical fitness. A perfect example is Canadian hero, Rick Hanson ( for those that don’t know, in 1986 he wheel chaired thousands of miles around the world, and raised millions and millions of dollars for spinal research ). Rick had the fitness, and the stamina to push his wheel chair down the road as fast as a bike, for ten hours a day. At the same time he was bench pressing about 400 lbs!

Stretch: Hang on a bar and do chin ups. If you can’t do chinups, then do leg lifts untill your grip is stron enough to do chinups. Hanging from a bar is the easiest way to allign your spine without visiting a chiropracter. This will make you feel more energetic, it’ll make your movements in exercise more easier, and you’ll be more likely to release fat burning hormones. Yoga and Pilates have become very popular this century. These exercises are not only wonderfull for your posture but they will also increase overall strength and stamina by helping the body move more efficiently.

Live an active lifestyle: Exercise isn’t done for an hour a day at the gym. It’s done throughout the day, at any given opportunity. If you spend ten hours a day climbing mountains, you’ll have the body of a mountain climber, if you had sex from 9 to 5 you’d end up with the body of a porn star, but if you spend ten hours a day at a desk you’ll have the body of a government worker. Any activity is better then no activity. If you like going to the bar, then get on the dance floor and move it. If you like going to the beach then go for a swim, or play some volleyball. Leave your car in the driveway and go for a walk when possible. Light activity that burns an extra 200 calories an hour adds up throughout the day.


Diet is the most important aspect of losing weight. You need to reduce the overall amount of calories going in without setting off the bodies alarms. Eat smaller portions, of healthy food, more often throughout the day. Your goal is to raise the metabolism and give the body no reason whatsoever to put its guard up, because it feels it’s missing something.

Treat your depression: When one’s depressed one seeks food as a form of instant satisfaction and control. It’s diffficult to eat better when one’s depressed. If that’s the case, it’d be in your best interest to ask your physician for some pills, as I’m certain they’d love to prescribe them to you.

Consume cold water: Water has no calories but takes a lot of energy to warm up ( that’s why it’s one of the best coolants around ). One litre of cold water that enters the body at four degrees exits the body at 37 degrees. Do the math, drinking one litre of water uses up 33 000 Joules of energy. If that one litre of water can be sweated out instead of pissed out, you’ll burn even more calories.


Up your protein intake: Eat one gram of complete protein for every pound of bodyweight. Whey isolate is ideal because it is virtually fat and sugar free. This will let your muscles grow enough to raise your metabolism. Whey peptides have the magical ability of quadrupling the hormone CCK, which is responsible for soothing feelings of hunger. Whey protein is the healthiest, most convenient, and most affordable lifestyle change, for losing and keeping off excessive bodyfat.

Don’t neglect fat: If you go without eating fat your body will be less likely to burn off its fat supply, and will go on a fat craving. But if you work in an office, or go to school a few small portions of carbohydrates is all you’ll need. Carbohydrate intake should be kept reasonable, not eliminated. Complex carbohydrates are always better then simple sugars as white sugar is known as ‘white death’ in the bodybuilding community.

Vitamins, minerals, & nutrients: Go heavy on the fruits and vegetables.You’ll need the vitamins, trace minerals, fibre, and enzymes found only in fresh fruits and vegetables. Many of the supplements available at your local health food stores try to replicate the effects of the exotic nutrients found in fresh fruits and vegetables.

Practice temperance: If you want to lose weight then you should seriously avoid alcohol. Alcohol is very high in calories.( Some drunkards and bar stars are thin, but only because they’re perpetually hung over. In such a state they’re dehydrated, and incapable of holding down any food ) Avoid marijuana too, and don’t trust the research presented to you in the pamphlet handed out by some hippy downtown. It’ll make you lazy, depressed, demotivated, and worst of all it’ll leave you with a bad case of the munchies.

Don’t rely on over the counter supplements: There are a wide variety of weight loss supplements. Now that ephedrine is illegal, everything remaining is merely just a supplement. Just as a three mile an hour tail wind can help supplement a car in breaking a top speed record, a weightloss supplement alone is worthless without proper diet and exercise. The only way to lose weight without effort is with illegal or prescription drugs. Each one has it’s own set of advantages and disadvantages.

Ephedrine/Caffeine/Aspirin: This stack was wonderful when it was legal, but not without its flaws. It was addictive, it wasn’t healthy, and when you went off the stack, your metabolism would change, resulting in some of the weight coming back.

Clenbuterol: is a wonderful product, in the sense that it’s one of the few fat burners that actually let you put on a few pounds of muscle.This product must be cycled a few days on a few days off, so it’s effectiveness is essentially cut in half. It’s legal in Europe for weight loss, but only used to treat horses with asthma here. It can work without exercise, but you’ll be twitching so much throughout the day, you’ll get plenty of exercise without even making an effort.

Cytomel: Thyroid hormones are excellent at raising your metabolism. The drug with the best reputation in the athletic community is cytoml. There are numerous ‘legal’ thyroid stimulating supplements for sale at the local health food store, but they don’t hold up a candle to the real thing, which has a reputation for sacrificing muscle mass, and still requires exercise and a good diet to be noticeably effective. I do not suggest using this drug without a doctors prescription, for if you do it the wrong way you will suppress your thyroid permanently.

DNP: is the strongest fat burner known to man, capable of melting off one pound of solid fat in a day without any exercise ! Not a medicine, but an ingredient of some explosives and insecticides. It’s very dangerous, a small overdose can kill you, it’s long term health effects aren’t documented, and you’ll leave behind an orange sweat that doesn’t go away. I do not recommend this to anybody. A pound of fat is worth about 3500 calories, it’d be easier and safer to just run for three hours, or to participate in your favorite sport or activity for seven hours to acheve the same result.

Kynoselen: injections work very well for eliminating fatty deposits in spots, it’ll help increase muscle mass, and give you more stamina to exercise. This comes at a cost though.
