question on pin size for female glute shot

in all honesty, how thick is her skin?? Any woman in decent shape or at least in "steroid using" shape will be totally fine with 1" The only concern is getting through the layer of fat to the muscle.. which is why i made the statement that anyone ready to use steriods, should not have that much fat anyway.. So 1" is sufficient!

Also, whatcha using?? Anything water based can use a smaller gauge.. but like primo a 23g is good

Finally! I thought you were on vacation, Supergirl! I knew you would answer sooner or later. She is using Deca at 50mgs a week. She is currently off right now but she was getting some bad bruising and a kind of rash around the injection site w/ the 1in so I tried 1.5 and she said she liked it better. I was just wondering what you gals used, I assumed most of you probably dont shoot but I knew you would know what to do.

bruising and rash at the site = not hitting deep enough.. some of the oil is escaping the muscle and make sure you use alcohol pre and post injection.. BD makes these cool one use alcohol pads.. i luv them
Also, do not reuse any needles!! After one use they become dull and bruises are easier to obtain!!

Hi girls. I'm big on using the right gauge and length because it makes all the difference in the world. For thick oil bases, I use 20's and almost always use 1 1/2 for the glute. Us girls get big glutes from the squats and I KNOW it's deep intramuscular with the longer one. Now, for site injecting, like my delts & tri's, I use a 5/8. I use 22's for anything with crystals and move like the devil to get it in fast so as no crystals settling to cause me difficulty, that's the worst. But with Keno, I use the finest diabetic needle around and it goes in like a breeze. Hope this helps a little.

Are you girls crazy? You dont need to use a 23g thats insane. I only used that a couple of times when I went to mexico and it already came liek that. Thats like jabbing a pen in yer ass. Use a 25g x 1. I even use 29g for my arms, legs, calves...even in my ass but the 29g is 1/2 inch. But if the juice gets under the skin it is still going to dissolve into your bloodestream, even though people say its better right into the muscle..it will still work under the skin...so use 25g !

I use 25g for glute/quad injections with water based stuff and 1 in should be fine for any woman.

23 works fine - but I definitly prefer the 25.

I generally use 23g for oil based - gear just goes in easier.

As for bruising - make sure the needle is going in all the way and that she's not rushing the shot - if you try to push it in too quickly it won't dispurse effectively.

Have her rub on the spot a little afterwards to help the liquid disburse into the muscle.

well after a little experimenting we now use a 25g 1.5 inch for glute shots. No lumps or redness. she complains of no pain and we feel that the extra length only helps get the oil deeper into the muscle. she loves the pin choice and she loves the Deca at 50mgs a week.
