Default New Here with Some Questions

Hi everyone! I just found this site today, and it looks awesome. I have a couple of questions, but first, I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself. I’ll be 36 in February and have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. I am very skinny (5’8”, 123 lbs), have a little bit of definition in my shoulders/arms, but need help in the legs/belly/butt areas. Also, my boobs used to be nice. I stress used to be!! I obviously don’t need to lose weight, but would like to build up some muscle mass and get rid of the loose skin. As far as eating goes, I eat when I get the chance (with kids it’s tough) and tend to lean towards carbs in a pinch (cereal/bagels). For dinner, I usually have meat or fish and a salad. I have just started going back to the gym after probably 3 years or so. My husband has cycled, and gotten big results. He is also an avid lifter. I don’t want to get huge, per se, but am wondering what I could do in the way of muscle development. Like I said, I’m too skinny now. I’ve been reading a little about Winstrol and Anavar. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Well, firstly welcome to the board.
Anabolics shouldn't even be on your mind right now hun.
Your diet and training is the most important thing here.
What does you training routine look like now?
In terms of diet, you are obviously going to have to do some planning being as you have children. They can take a lot of your time up I'm sure but you do have to make time to eat.
You need to try to fit six meals in throughout the day(this includes your snacks). If you can't eat six meals a day, I would suggest you get yourself some whey protein to fill in where you are unable to eat. You do need to get whole foods in as well though. Use protein sources such as chicken, fish, lean cuts of beef, turkey, eggs, and of course whey protein. Be sure to have protein at each of your meals.

For your complex carbs, use sources such as oats, potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice, and beans. If you are going to eat bread, go for the whole grain types. You will also want to make sure you are taking in some essential fatty acids. A quick and easy source of efa's is from flax oil or better yet, Udo's Oil.
You also want to make sure you are drinking at least 4 litres of water a day.
Hope that helps. If I've left anything out, I'm sure someone else will chime in. Once again, welcome to Steroidology.

Maybe I am rushing things a little bit, but thank you both for your replies. I guess I am looking for quick results. I'm going to stick around, you all have a lot to offer from what I've read to far. I'm also going to try to get myself into a better routine, then maybe I'll start seeing some results.

defintly stick around Geri, we're here to help and offer support. Keep in mind that it takes time to reach our goals, there are no shortcuts as wonderful as that may be. But I am sure that with the right mindset and hard work you can do it!
