Birth Control and Anavar

I have been training for awhile and am now considering taking a cycle of anavar for 10 weeks at 5mg ED to gain more strength. My diet is good and my program works well for me. Matt and I have researched together but have not come to a conclusion on the effects my taking a low dose birth control pill would be at the same time as anavar. I take the pill to help with pms and period only as I had a tubal 8 years ago. Any information that can be shared would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Allison

The anavar will not affect the birth control. However birth control itself is giving you more estrogen so that may slightly affect your fat loss by itself.

I wouldn't worry though. Do the cycle and see if you get results. A low dose of birth control should not make a significant difference. I would only worry about birth control if contest dieting and even then some women have no problems.

Thank you for the info. I very much agree with taking things slowly and at low doses to see if any reactions occur. I prefer healthy and happy rather than possibly bitchy and masculine : ) I leave that for Matt haha Thanks again - Allison
