Pretty much any ab exercise is great...will build those muscles so when you do lean out they will "pop" out.
Another good thing to do is suck in your stomach and then let it out. In, out, in, out. You will start to do it more and more....that helps as well. It's hard to remember but the more you do it the more you'll get used to it. When watching TV, on the computer, going for a walk....anytime.
