Default First week on Anavar

Well I start Var last Friday, so it's actually been about 9 days I guess. I'm at 20mg (high to start I know) but we only have 4 weeks to Provincials (figure competing).

So far I feel really good! I felt a bit off around the 3rd or 4th day, but now I feel normal. Definetly harder, stronger, more of a pump during workouts. We just upped my cardio today again, so now I'm dong twice daily 45min HIIT cardio 7 days a week. The Anavar/Diet/Cardio/Weight Program combo, I'm expecting some wicked results!

Some background info, I'm 5'4" currently 125lbs (was 115 on stage at first comp 3 weeks ago). I was about 10%BF at last competition, I want to get below that this time around. It's a much higher level of competition, I need to be shredded!! We did body comp a week ago and I was back up to 13.5% BF. Eeek. But trainers happy with that, so I guess I have to be too!

We bulked up for the past couple weeks, moderate cardio, red meat, more clean good carbs etc. Now we're back to hardcore cutting. We talked about stacking with Clen, but I leaned out so fast before last comp, that trainer doesn't think it's necessary. Anyways, I just wanted to post and will b lingering around to keep informed on everyone elses Var experience!

Decided I'd post my diet and program too...just for everyones opinion!

Diet

Morning:
Six Egg Whites
1 Egg

Mid-Morning: (Post Training)
Scoop Protein Shake
1 scoop Waxy Maize

Lunch:
Tuna(1 can)
Lettuce(assorted veggies)
Balsamic vinegar

Mid-Afternoon:
Chicken Breast
100 gr Sweet Potato

Supper:
Chicken Breast
2 cups Veggies

Before Bed:
Cottage Cheese(1 cup)

Workout:

4 sets, 8 to 10 reps

Day 1

Shoulders
Seated Side laterals
Smith Press
Seated Front raise Hammer
Wide grip upright Row

Triceps
Cable Push Downs
Overhead Ext
Close Grip Bench

Day 2

Back
Seated Row Underhand Grip
One Arm Row
Wide Grip pulldowns
Narrow grip Pulldowns
Deadlifts

Abs
3 exercises(One for lower portion)

Day 3

Chest
Flat db bench
Incline smith press
Incline flys
Pushups

Biceps
Bar curl 21's
Db hammer curls
Preacher curls

Day 4 Off

Day 5

Shoulders(2)
Seated side raises
Front hammer raises seated
Bent over laterals s/s reverse flys
Db Front to side raises (light)
Shrugs db

Calves
Donkey raises
Seated raises
Leg press raises

Day 6

Legs
Extensions
Smith squats
Leg press (narrow feet low on platform)
Lying curls
Walking lunges with db
abs
3 exercises (2 for lower)

Day 7 Off

Cardio:
Twice daily (AM on empty stomach& evening) 45min HIIT 7 days a week

Hey figurechick I'll be following along with you. I plan on starting my 1st time cycle next week.

Your training regime is on point HIIT 7 days a week - you're gonna get great reaults

How long do you plan on running this cycle? 20mg sounds like a lot but it seems like you're handling it fine. How are your sides at this dosage? I plan on doing on 5mg ED for 8-10 weeks.

I will be following to. My Girlfriend wants to run anavar for 6 weeks but not that high of a dose. So Im curious about your gains Good luck and keep us posted

I still think 20 mg is way too high but you will do what you will do.

You are so lucky to get so many free supplements! I would take all kinds of supplements if I had the cash! I only stick with the important ones due to budgeting but take full advantage of your free supplements!

I will keep up with your progress for sure!

I'm also surprised you are eating cottage cheese and red meat so close to competition. I think that is great and you must be doing something right if you are still lean!
