Default 2 Week Count Down!!...

Figure Masters Nationals..
I am in the 35 and up...
Any last minute advice for my last two weeks????
As far as dieting, dropping water, etc.

Also, when is the best time to stop the anavar, heard here and there that you can hold water if you stay on.... dont need that...

Good luck Beca! Is this your first competition! I'm doing my first competition and at 13 weeks this Sat! Any advice for me???

The only advice I can give right now.......

eat only clean whole food (no shakes)

Everything else seems so specific to the individual. I would also suggest upping your water until your coach says to dry out. Get in extra tanning. Keep up with the cardio....that's crucial at this point in time!

Nothing else comes to mind at this moment.

Please keep us updated for sure! I want to hear all about your experience!

I think you can run anavar right through contest or up to contest but I'm not sure exactly why!

I just wanted to put this up because if you have a trainer then i don't want to step on their cardio advice or diet,

BUT

No tanning after about tuesday the last week.

See what happens is when you tan you are basically causing trauma to your skin. When you do this the body pulls water into your skin, Which is not what you want. So tan as much as you want now but stop it 4 or 5 days before. Also just so you know Shaving does the same thing so be careful how close you shave prior. I wouldn't shave after Wednesday personally and the would only use Clippers to clean up.

Interesting....I didn't know the body pulls water into the skin when tanning!

The pulling water into the skin does make sense. I dont do alot of tanning because of my job, Im supposed to be against that . It is true though. Any tanning i will be doing might be up to the Sunday before at the pool. Other then that, ill be getting sprayed the Thursday before the show.
As far as shaving, i had laser hair removal, yeahhhhh, so i dont have to worry about that either.
Miss Muscle... this is my third show. I won my last show (two classes and the overall) almost 2 years ago, have not competed since. The advice you gave is good advice, exactly what my trianer has me do. My last show i never pulled shakes because i naturally have a low body fat all the time. Good genetics. This time i am pulling them out so we will see what happens.
Im getting so hungry!!

as i've said a million times in threads girly.. don't stop what your doing right before your show.. keep running your var through your show! Your body has already adjusted to the var and by this long Var and water retention should not be a concern.. keep everything consistent right now!! and you should be already manipulating your water so you'll be dried out for friday...


DIRK: good point on the tanning!! i like using thimucase when tanning on my stubborn spots but stop tanning tues or wed the latest...

only other thing i can think of Beca is your carb up.. what have you prepared? or used in the past that you know for sure works with your body..

alot use dextrose and i've heard people use pie fillings, fruit roll-ups, mentos etc...
i noticed last year that if i carb up a day in advance, i am leaner and fuller rather than carbing up in the morning.. just a thought..
