    Default Need some help with my girlfriends diet
    Hey ladies,

    So I have been a fitness freak for about a year and a half now. I am currently on a cut and my gf has decided to join me. I don't lay out y meals and plan them exactly and I have good success. She wants to lose weight quickly so I figure I would see if any of y'all had a plan to share? Thanks so much

    5'9"
    22 years old
    TDEE is about 2200
    She carries her weight pretty well though... She doesn't look bad or anything

    Ok, how about the basics.....lean meats, good fats from nuts/oils, lots of veggies, moderate fruit. Try and good out a couple/3 days worth of meals at a time. Freeze a few that are freezer friendly. Spices are your friend. Has

    Hi anewguy,

    What are her goals ? is she looking to lose weight/fat ?
    If so, it's pretty simple, she needs to eat 300-500 cals below her TDEE.... We are all unique & our bodies react different to different diets, there really isn't a "One size fits all" when it comes to diet.

    For me personally carb cycling works eally well when cutting & even my regular diet is pretty low in carbs.

    Some people like to go with 40/40/20 others with 50/20/30, etc.. it really depends on what works best for each, she needs to try to find what works best for her.
    Once she figures out th ratio whe wants to go with, she can divide her meals into 5-6 meals & make sure she drinks plenty of water.

    Unfortunately there's no such thing as "fast results" when it comes to dieting, the most important thing is to build a good foundation & understand how good nutrition works & stick to what works, a good diet combined with a good training program is what will help her accomplish her goals.
