Tricep ?

    Tricep ?
    i moved my triceps to my back day so i could iscolate them better, do you think weighted dips and heavy close grip bench is enough to hit all three heads on my triceps or should i throw in an iscolation movement such as kick backs, or skull crushers?

    first off make sure that you have enough days between your chest/bench day and your back/tricep day for your tris to recover . cg bench and skull crushers are great but so are reverse grip bench and i also like underhand cable work but keep those elbows down and in

    Rookie throwing tris in with back is a good idea.....
    All looks good ........
    Only thing I would disagree on ...is if you are a novice trainer ....reverse grip bench is an akward movement unless you have someone teach you on correct form.
    I,ve tried it and cannot get comfertable with it know matter how many adjustments I make.

    my opinion here, but if you going to hit the triceps with back workout just make sure you do have enough rest in between bench and shoulder days. I think doing elbow crushers aka skull crushers and triceps pressdown would be better than instead of close grip and dips since they both hit the chest and shoulders harder than the elbow crushers and pressdowns. Opinion only.

    I agree also I would make your crushers the base of your tri routine those are a great mass builder for tri,add in your cable pulldowns,dips,kickbacks and your golden

    mon-chest-bi
    tues-weighted abs/cardio
    wed-shoulders/ legs ( do shoulders first because im dead after legs)
    thurs-cardio
    fri-back/tri

    thats my work out, im not new to training, so reverse bench should be used on my tri day or close grip bench ?

    if you are new start with the basics cg bench and skull crushers are hard to beat
