Default Gaining muscle witout a training program?

Hi, I`ve been working out for 4 years, stats: 182 cm, 85 kg, 9% fat.
I`ve been clean until now, I`m about to start a cycle with 250 mgs/ew of test cyp.

I`m getting bored by doing training routines. What do you guys think about going to training without knowing which exercises to use and which weights to use, only knowing which day to train each musclegroup before you hit the gym?

I know Shawn Ray did this with great success, he never had meal plans either, not even when he was dieting for mr. Olympia.

I think its a crap idea personally.. sorry. Most people don't have Shawn Ray's genetics either. I'm sure you could do it with "some" success but nothing like having a plan laid out. The key is to change up your routine OFTEN. don't stick to the same routine for more then 6-8 weeks. I've even seen some guys change things up every 2-3 weeks.

try it, see how it works...

it'd probably be ok for 4-6 weeks..

but keep a log in the online journal section so we can follow your progress

good luck on reaching your goals bro

There are people who instinctively train, but I would suggest you be a lot further along before trying such a thing. You don't have to follow a set routine for weeks on end, plan out your routine before you go into the gym and compare it to the last weeks workout. Otherwise you may find out after months, you haven't been challenging yourself with the weights you've been using.

fucking key right there bro!

keep track of what you do! Always try to beat your goals!

maybe your routine isn't set in stone, but when you do an exercise, you can at least know what weight you should be at, or what record you should be trying to break.
