Fatigued on Arimidex?

Does anyone else taking Arimidex get tired/fatigued? I have been taking it for one week now. I took 1mg a day for the first three days to get started. After than I am on .50mg per day. I am taking it in the morning when I wake up. When it gets to about 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon I need to take a nap because I feel so tired. The addition of arimidex is the only recent change I have made in my medications.

I want to get my estradiol tested again to see where I am at, but I can't do it until next week probably.

sounds like u tanked your estro eod or e3d is better with dex.Do your joints hurt?

Only my elbow hurts right now. But I have been dealing with a case of tennis elbow. It was feeling better lately, but it has taken a turn for the worse the last few days.

If I did tank my estrogen hopefully my gyno has been stopped in its tracks.

adex will prevent not cure.with ais u wanna start low and build it up

Yeah bro... back off the Adex. I had the same issue when I switched from Aromisin to Adex. I was at .5 Aromisin every 3rd day when I switched to the same dose/schedule of Adex due to lower cost. I was miserable for weeks, but now at .5 Adex on my weeky injec day it is much better. Once a week 200mg cyp & .5 Adex seems to be doing fine.

Thanks guys. The Endo put me at .50mg per day. I knew I would have to feel things out to find the right balance. I'll try backing off. The stuff is putting me to sleep at this dosage!

You dont know how glad I am you started this thread....Im a fatigue basket case.
Adex was my only change also....I can sleep all day and night.

low E can have many of the same symptoms as high E, estrogen is responsible for things like BMD, brain function, joint health and libido plus many more things.

Chronic fatigue - alongside severe joint pain is not uncommon on Arimidex.

I went from 250mcg Monday/Thursday.... To 500mcg M/T
Not a lot on either protocal, but it seemed to put me to sleep. A strong ringing in my ears also.
Ive rolled back to 250 and feel a bit better, but still fatigued--just less.
