PIN size

Just had a question about pin size. Most guys apear to be using a 1.5" and a bout 25-21 gauge. My question is the 1.5 long necessay? I have only been using 1" long, 21g. I found a post on the anabolic forum and some of the guys there are actually starting to go sub Q.

You need to go deep im. Most guys here are using 23 1.5" in glutes.

You'll be fine with a 1in. I use both and honestly can't tell a difference between the two so I stick with the 1-1/2 23g but either works fine for me. I'll use all my 1in 23g until their gone.

I like 1 1/2 in. for glutes, and 1 in. for anywhere else.

I use a 1.5 inch 23 gauge and alternate between ventrogluteal and quad injection sites. I don't go as deep in the quads (leave about a pinky width of the needle out) but I go balls deep in the ventrogluteal sites.

Tman- How does the stopper wear on your vials? I used a 20g to draw for a little while but was afraid it was going to tear the stopper up and maybe even cause some debris to fall into the vial (this is especially true now that I'm using 20ml instead of 10ml vials). Loved how easy it was to draw with the 20g. Took no time at all. Thanks.

I've used 19 gauge forever on drawing and never had an issue with tearing up a vial (leaking or falling debris) and I tip my bottle upside down and let it sit for multiple days before last draw without issues.

Like some of the other guys, used anywhere from 21-23 and 1 or 1 1/2. I don't feel I've noticed a difference in the 1 "not going deep enough logic" and usually buy a case of 100 in whatever's in stock.

Thanks guys. Kind of what I was thinking, but you do hear some guys say it has to be 1.5". I'll stick with the 1".

18 gauge tears the crap out of the top for me, and I was worried of a floater in the bottle. Rubber is something I would rather not inject, so I just draw with the 23 gauge.

This is a good idea. I might have to do this when I go in the delt
