Designer Whey vs Platinum Hydro whey
first off let me say i use protein powder 3x per day: second meal with side of oatmeal, then before and after gym...
designer whey seems to allow me to stay lean and get the peotein right into my body...issue is i have had crazy itchy head...when stopped designer (started and stopped few times over past 2 years) itch goes away....
Platinum hydro whey looks good on paper ,tastes good, but i get fat and breakout on my back....really i am lean but this stuff gets my fat...
only thing i see on label is it had 150mgs sodium...other that than looks good..
any thoughts ..

I'd take whey to build muscle over either of them any day of the week. But if I had to choose, designer whey is way more bang for the buck.

Hmmm I wonder why? haha...
OP: Platinum Hydro Whey is a much better product, it's very odd that you're experiencing those sides. Designer whey is a combination of whey concentrate, whey isolate, and some hyrdolyzed whey concentrate...which means you get a lot of the milk sugars, etc. that generally cause bloat and gastric distress in people.
Whereas platinum hydro whey is a hydrolysate or hyrdolyzed isolate, which is a much cleaner product that has been further broken down by enzymatic reactions to yield a product that is more quickly assimilated by the body.
But Platinum Hydro Whey is much more expensive, and ultimately if it's giving you some unpleasant sides you obviously shouldn't use it!
As BBE said, maybe try NTBM's stuff
