 Workin legs
I'm curious if anyone feels the same after they work legs. My body feels numb a couple of hrs after I work them. I'm guessing this is a feeling of total exhaustion. It as though my brain is sending signals everywhere with a weird feeling in my head.
I don't get this feeling when working any other body part. I normally do squats, front squats, leg press, extensions and curls, and 2 exercises for calves

I feel very lethargic after a heavy leg day and this feeling will effect everything else that day thats why when leg day comes around I try to schedule life around it.
But and actual feeling of numbness could mean something like neuropathy and it could be a disk pressing on nerves. My advice MM is if this continues or inhibits you from anything at all see a doctor or chiropractor.

I believe it's just lethargy and total exhaustion. I hit em' so hard I can barely walk afterwards but subsides once I leave the gym.

Yes, the best feeling in the world. I split up legs into 2 different days; essentially fronts and backs. It has worked well for adding some muscle definition and I dont have to spend 2 hours in there on one day trying to get it all done.

when it comes to legs after my workout and for 2-3 days after my body is half comatose trying to recoup. usually on the 2nd and 3rd day after ill jus crash with a huge nap during the day im so exhausted

I may have to do that - splitting leg days. I just know what I'm in for when it's leg day. I've been sticking with the one body part a day routine for a while. I feel like I can totally work/isolate that muscle group

Sup BB havent seen you posting in a while, happy New year!
Ok back to the thread,
Yes leg days are by far the most taxing and that feeling is very pleasantly unique when your totally spent and feel refreshed.
I do legs same day every week but ill hit calfs a few times a week as I do calf raises as I rest for my next set.
-
I have a few staple exercises on leg day that I always do but I switch up other lifts like a typical leg day
squats
db walking lunges
leg extentions
and ill add 2 or 3 more exercise depending what is taking precedent like
jefferson squats for hammys
different variations of angles on the sled leg press
straight leg deads
single leg squats/lunges
