Hi guys
I'm 33 and took propecia for hair loss fior a few years with in retrospect sides of ed, low libido and brain fog. Last year I cycled on and off the stuff a couple of times which might have made things worse, was self-medicating, before finally a two month run at the end of last year put me in hell.

Basically I had depression and poor libido then, when quitting on finally realising why, stopped the stuff and 'crashed' three weks later with awful ED and fatigue, insomnia, muscle wastage. Lost a stone in two months, put it back on in abdominal fat.

I am trying to get TRT, here are my last bloods:

Total Test: 10.36 (scale 10-36)
SHBG: 23 (6-45)
LH 3.4 (1-12)
FSH 2.5 (1-12)
TSH 1.2 (0.2-5)
Free t4 15 (9-21)
Prolactin 116 (0-500)
Serum B12 204 (155-1100)
Cortisol 218 (280-720)

Anything stand out as to why I'm so screwed with muscle loss and total ed? What should I do next?

If one is on TRT "for life" as the say and you will never get back natural testosterone levels anyways, then why worry about HCG and natural test? The only reason i can think of is sex drive, but if a persons sex drive is fine then what other reason would there b?

Part II) TRT is not that harmful if at all lifetime because you are just getting back to normal levels, but the extras are harmful...Armidex on lipids and embolisms, etc etc.....IS HCG also possibly harmful long term??

Hello everyone my doctor told me that I have low testosterone low lh and fsh I understand that to be secondary hypogonadism, the question is I tested lh fsh a couple months back before I started my testosterone cypionate injections could that lower lh and fsh? Also could it be because I stopped taking my synthroid I heard that could be a cause, because I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I am scheduled for an mri on tuesday to see if its the pituitary. I just have researched alot of people in similar situations that say they go get the mri the pituitary is fine the have to go to an endo and find out that there is no reason the pituitary is not working. I dont really want to go to an endo so I would rather continue with my testosterone therapy and get my lh back up from hcg so I can still have kids.
I just wondered what your thoughts might be thanks for reading this.

So here is my stats first and a little background on my lifting.
Just turned 34 last week.
weight - 190lbs.
height - 5'9
lifting about 13 years.

Did a few cycles when I first started. I stopped lifting after a car accident and was on and off for the past 3 years. the last 9 months have been probably the best of my life when it comes to the gym.

I eat pretty lean and lots of protein I would say 200-250 protein. The only time I mixed any aas was 6 months ago took anavar 40mg a day 2 weeks on and 1 week off for 4 months and made incredible gains in streght and hardnes as well as lost lots of fat. Even after I stop the HGH and the anavar gains were still comming.

Now to the HRT. about 3 years ago I complained to the dr about having low libido and energy and was sent to a Urologist. After a check up and bloodwork He found that I had varicocele (spelling) veins on both sides not just one and my test levels where almost at 200. He told me I would need surgery and then to go on a hormone therapy to make my testis produce their own since they had been lazy for god knows how long. after surgery I was placed on androgel but it was to muchto put that on every day and it was messy. so he prescribed hcg and clomid that was 2 years ago and have switch from clomid to arimidex and now back to clomid. My test levels have improved but if I stop hcg my levels drop as it happend once before. about a year ago I asked him to test my igf levels and he said it was low and put me on HGH genotropin for a year. but my insurance didn't want to cover it because they said it was not considered to be low enough. so I went and paid for it out of pocket for about 6 months got expensive after that and stopped. I decided to go back to the gym and take advantage of the hgh and other stuff I was taking. It has now been 9 months I'm in the gym and I am in the best shape I have ever been in but my sex drive is low and the wife complaints like no tomorrow. I saw my doctor 4 weeks ago and told me to stay on hgh and to up from .4 mg to .6 mg. how ever the price is really expensive now.

What I'm taking right now.
Novarel(hcg) 1cc EOD
clomid 25mg everyday.
My gains
I never weight more then 180 even when I got fat and wasnt doing any exercise. had a beer belly and all. In the last 9 months I went up 10 pounds and the belly is gone you can even see my 4 pack.
My max reps before.
bech 225x2 now 265x7
leg press 7 plate e/side x8
now 9 plates x9
dumbbells 80x4-5 now 100x6
squads 275x6 now 315x6

I have to get HGH again but may have to go UGL because with prescription is 4 x the price. My Dr. said I have to stay on it for the whole year this time and even recommended to go to Mexico or Canada to get it for cheaper since I told him the reason I stopped was price. He also said he wants to give me some kind of testastorone to increase my sex drive but told me to wait till my wife gets pregnant before he does since I told him we were trying to have a baby.

Anyway there is my story sorry for the long piece. and if anyone has advice or positive input please feel free.

Also I was thinking on doing another cycle anavar + hgh (since I have to take it) but this time would take it for 8 - 10 weeks to see if it gives me different results from what i got last time.

Thanks for reading.

My first post here, hoping to get some productive feedback.

I decided I wanted to stop being scrawny and put on some muscle this summer and so I wanted to get my blood levels checked for everything. I hired a trainer who is an x-pro and former Mr. Colorado and got my diet in order - for others who have been considered hard gainers, I went from 152 and am now up to 165 after 4 months (I'm 5'9") and am eating what I consider to be inhuman amounts of food, but it works. Anyway, when my levels came back, my test was at 214. My endo put on me on 1 tube of 1% testim daily. After a month, I felt nothing whatsoever, and didn't have any special gains, so I decided to get my levels retested thinking I would just go to injections.

Much to my surprise, my Dr. called me freaked out saying my levels were at 2447 on a scale of 300-800 being normal. My trainer said that was what his levels were when he was competing. So, here's the deal. I have a 2.5 month supply left. My doc wants me to go to 1/2 tube daily and then retest. I want to put on muscle quickly like everyone else and would like to take advantage of this if it will help, but want to understand what the consequences could be at being that high for about 3 months. I'm taking nothing else, just the gel, and eating a ton (nearly 5000 calories per day) and working out balls to the wall hard.

Any one have any thoughts? Am I just being foolish, taking a risk that will cause probs, etc. or should I take advantage of my super high level and will it really make much of a difference. I'm 33, healthy, 7% body fat with no health problems in the past and a former professional athlete.

is there a mathmatical formula to figure out if someone was on 5g/day of andro gel, what that would approximately be equal to in test cyp??

Based on all the readings i see on here, most docs either do 200mg eow of cyp or 10grams/day of androgel

But curious what the conversion is
