Whoopie defended Micheal Vick saying what he did is normal where he comes from in the south..She likened it to cock fighten,saying theres no difference..Whoopies cohost looked sick and said but Vick tortured and murdered the dogs..Whoopie had no response..What do u expect anyway..one dumb nigger sticking up for another..

She's just trying to get in the headlines and bring ratings to the show, it's her job. I never valued her opinions or liked the show anyway. Also, what he did is not normal in the south, and that comment is offensive to the 99.9% of people here in the south that are not savages.

Racial...lol...because white people aren't punished for dog fighting. The white QB coach that got busted for HGH got treated the same as everybody else...difference is he didn't lie about it or drag it out, just manned up and took his punishment. In Rodney Harrison's defense he came clean as well, BUT the jackass ordered the shit online and gave his name and address. Seems hard to imagine he didn't know somebody who had a local source. I can get HGH in less than an hour and I don't even go to a gym, let alone workout with an entire pro football team.

The latest person to cash in on Vick's misfortune is Whoopi Goldberg, the newest member of "The View." Whoopi played the "cultural-upbringing card" when trying to explain (not excuse) Vick's involvement in dogfighting.
Here's my problem with the "cultural-upbringing card" as it relates to Vick and dogfighting. It used to be part of Southern culture to hang black men from trees because there was a rumor that we may have made eye contact with a white woman. It used to be part of Southern culture to burn crosses, torch churches and kill black people because black people wanted to vote, sit in the front of the bus, take a sip of water and a shot at a decent education.
No one I knew was all that interested in understanding that part of Southern culture. We just wanted it to change. Vick's culture needs to change. I'm not comparing dogfighting to the mistreatment and abuse of human beings. There's no comparison. I'm saying you don't need to understand someone's culture to recognize and reject cruel/criminal behavior.
