Do you root for your race?
I admit I do from time to time except if it's my home team or I have a betting interest in the particular game.
I think it's a natural tendency. How many of you were cheering for Liddel over Jackson simply because he's white?
Are you rooting for the Jazz over the Spurs cause they have more whities?

sometimes mabye, but i generaly route for who i think is the best , i picked jackson over liddel and the spurs over jazz...i was going for the suns though....Steve Nash

I pull for whoever I like best...not who I think is best. I would have to say that more times than not, I do pull for those participants who share my racial class.
As far as Chuck and Rampage....I was pulling for Chuck, because I felt he was really the underdog. I really like him as a person. I also like Rampage as a person, only because I know his background and the bullshit he has come up from. I actually respect Rampage. However, I was only slightly pulling for Chuck. I wanted to see a good fight more than anything.

so what i got out of this was you didnt care who won as long as there was a massive ass beating involved for both sides.

I generally root for who I like the best too. I hate punks that talk a lot of shit regardless of whether or not they back it up. But I guess if all things were equal in the personality department I usually root for my own race.

i root for entertainment. athletes are getting paid to entertain me so i have no loyalty to any athlete that doesnt provide me with entertainment. i dont care where you are from or what you look like, you dont perform i want you gone.
i prefer success for those of my same racial group but ultimately entertainment is what matters most.

In a fight... I go for the guy that doesn't come into the ring with 40 people, with some stupid rap music playing, then acts like a jackass in the ring.. I go for the one who comes in a like a pro...
