Didn't know that, but you are right, of course.
There seems to be a pretty mixed persective on this subject. For example: http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/indepth.fo...imp/index.html
Since my throat swells up when I eat shrimp, I think I'll stay away from it...regardless.

"shrimp n. pl. shrimp __or__ shrimps", thus both words can be used.. neverthless I didn't really ask for how much protein there are in SHRIMPS.. I'm wondering if it's useful to in add to my diet.. cause I don't see many guys eating SHRIMPS here.. but I guess since it's high in cholesterol it might not be a very good idea?

So you dont care how much protien is in them then i guess carbs and fats dont matter so then why are you even asking the question.

I asked the question because, as you quoted yourself; "..I don't see many guys eating SHRIMPS here.. " As for how much protein, carbs and fats it's in them, I already had that info, but hey, thanks anyway for you'r precious time.

Hell yes they are a good source of protein. I keep my freezer stocked with ten pounds at all times......as well as snow crab and mud bugs.
