    Cant Do Protein Shakes Anymore. The Thought Of Them Make Me Gag.
    So around three months ago I started having real trouble of drinking protein shakes. I'm not talking just water with protein I mean even with frozen fruit, yogurt, ice and milk. Just the thought of drinking one makes me gag really bad. Its not my protein cause I've been taking same one for years with no problems its more mental. Since Im in a bulk cycle I feel like this will affect gains. Will taking some time off help? has anyoe dealt with this and been able to fix it?

    I've never gagged over a protein shake but currently I don't take any. I've just been eating clean..

    If you really can't drink Protein shakes, just eat food with high protein like chicken.

    If your worried about getting calories in on your bulk just eat more food,

    Yah sometimes its more out of lack of convenience to do this. I'd really like to know how to get over it mentally.

    I have trouble with certain textures. Add nuts, or oats.. It helped me

    Take a month off, I have the same problem with chicken I`m starting to walk
    like one I eat that much of it

    Try some dif brands. There are some excellent ones out there that taste great.

    Forget it! take a week or 2 off of them and try hit hit your macros. Personlly I love the walmart Body fortress Isolate vanilla cream

    There's only a few flavors from Elite Gourmet I can stand, right now taking Cappuccino which is not bad. But yeah I usually alternate between two flavors, because the same flavor everyday makes me gag too.

    there are numerous other ways to use powder protein other than shakes, there is a wealth of cooking recipes which incorporate it.. but as previously stated whole foods instead of the shake to make up for the shake.

    Same thing happens to me with certain drinks or foods after a while. It comes with the territory bro. Just take a month or so off and eat more whole foods.

    Try incorporating some whey with oatmeal and milk and heat it up. Also def try some other blends. Maybe find some recipes for casein sludge. There is tons of way to spruce that whey into something better then whey and water.
