Making your own jerky really isnt as difficult as people think. You dont even need any special equipment for it...you can actually make it right in your oven.
To make it even easier, you can have your butcher slice the meat up for you when you purchase it. Most butchers will do this for you at no charge. That may fix your slicer problem, mranak.

And if you DO slice it yourself...slightly freeze it first, it makes slicing it so much easier because it makes it more firm.
