ARNIE deserved first place cause overall he was the best....his physique was polished and defined like Serge Nubret but he had the size to compete with Lou. Franco's physique although he had everything too, there is an old saying in BB...a good big man will always beat a good short man...So Arnie remains KING>

I'm not a body building afficionado but I think Pumping Iron is an absolute classic.

As for Arnold, surely he took bodybuilding to a new level. No matter how many contests Haney, Yates, Coleman or whoever else wins, there will always pre and post Arnold.

Partly it was good genes. Look how long his limbs are and how fine his joints are. He was obviously a perfectionist, able to work every inch out of his musculature. By comparison his competition looked underdone even if they were bigger (Lou), more muscular (Franco) or more psycho (Katz).

i never got the chance to see the outtakes/interview part..never got to buy the dvd of it and we really don't have it here anymore.

Arnold owned them all easily. Lou looked like an armature, smooth and no ability to pose at all. Franco was awesome also, to even rip on Franco or Arnold shows that a person has no knowledge about bodybuilding. Serge Nubert also looked great and made Lou look like a fat baby.

It is a great DVD and the special features are unforgettable.
