 Banging High Protein Chili!
I am young and impatient and don't always have time to make a time consuming meal. So I got a few tips for a quick, high protein, chili meal.
INGREDIENTS:
1) Can Great Northern beans
1) Can Kidney beans
1) Lg. Can tomato sauce
1) Sm. Can tomato paste.
1) Sm. Can of Diced tomatoe w/ or w/o green chilis
1) Lb. of ground turkey
1/4) Lg. Onion diced
SPICES) Chili pwdr, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper.
Brown meat, Drain, add all ingredients. add spices to your liking, (roughly 1 tsp cumin, 2-3 TBS, chili pwdr, 1-2 TBS of garlic and onion pwdr.) Takes about 25-30 min serves 4-5
Roughly, 40 grams of protein per serving
380 calories
40 grams of carbs
TIPS: Try using shredding grilled chicken also or along with the turkey for additional protein! Use Ms. Dash spices for low sodium, thoroughly rinse canned beans to reduce sodium. and I like to add that Chinese hot chili sauce. This is great tasting, High in Protein, Good Carbs, Lots of fiber, and FILLING!
NOTE: I am not a chef or a nutritionist, so take it easy on me if you do not like my post! lol Enjoy

Ya I love chili. You can make so many variations of it, and it always comes out good lol. Super high protein, and can be very low fat if you do it right
