Cutting or bulking?
Cutting? Low carb high protein. Eggs, bacon (turkey bacon preferrably). Or even just a protein shake will do the trick.
Bulking? Heck. Get the number 6 but watch out for those hash browns.

try a small amount of oats done with skimmed milk in the microwave as oats release their energy slowly, add some raisins to sweeten. also have a can of tuna with lowfat mayo or saladcream.
so there you have it low carbs a bit of fruit and some protien. perfect for breakfast takes 3-4 mins to prepare and less to eat it.

serious cutting? go for some old fashioned oat meal or steel-cut oats, nuke it w/ water and toss in 1 scoop of protein of your choice. You can even add in 1 of those tiny boxes of raisins for some more carbs. A tiny box only though as rasins are packed w/ carbs.

my breakfast for cutting is...
-5 eggs (3 whole, 2 whites)
-1 cup oatmeal
-4 slices turkey bacon..
breakfast is probably the one meal in the day where you can eat tons and tons of food and it wont be horrible for you.. at least in my opinion.. I always think eat your food early, and carbs early.. pretty much my whole carb intake will come before 12:00 p.m..

I'd go with oats (not instant) and egg whites.
Stay away from milk, all it will do is spike your insulin, which is what you don't want while cutting.

that's pretty much what i do. i make a straight protein shake, cup of oats mixed with water, 2 whole eggs and 1 full cup of egg whites.
then after i cook the oats, i pour some of my protein shake in the oats for flavor. i love it.
