i am currlently on cycle and i got in some touble and i had to give a drug test for probation, piss test. do they test for steroids and can they show up through a piss test?

i got busted a while back for herb and i had to go through a program and during the program we discussed AAS...i took a piss test so i think they testes for steroids but im not sure.

No they will not test for AAS usually, unless you were charged with an AAS related crime.

The test is expensive and not used on a regular basis.

they shouldn't test for it. steroid test are very expensive like $500-$700.

Wow...where I'm from they make you pay for the test and they inform you what you will be tested for, just ask its your right. Just ask what is being tested for it should be in writing since it is a legal matter.

U dont have to ask specifically whether they test for AAS or not... but u may ask what exactly are u tested for... and they should provide u with a list. Its your right, after all.

bro i straight up i seroisly doubt going to test because a: it is too expensive and b:it has nothing to deal with why u got probation in the first place. unless u got probation because u were distributing aas then theres no reason to test for it. keep us posted and good luck.

It would be a good idea to find out what the test entails, but most important is doing this so that they don't expect that you're trying to find out if AAS are on the list (which would raise a definite red flag, as you said).

Also, if they do test for steroids, that prednizone is not going to be of any benefit. Their different drugs structurally, even more so than say the difference between test and boldenone. If they administer the test they will simply find both (whatever AAS are still in you, and the Prednisone), and if you don't have a script for the pred, which you proably do, you'll have another charge. The good thing about most steroids, is that even if they do find them, you can claim that you took them before any of these events occured so it might not be considered a violation of your parole.
On another note, does anyone have any real experience with LE testing for AAS in steroid related offenses such as possesion? Do they spring for the test, or just give the standard probation test? Please no speculations/opinions on this one as I'd like only personal experiences or experiences of people close friends/relatives.

Am I the only one that thinks that if they told you prednizone would show up on the test as a steroid, that MIGHT mean they're going to be testing for the presence of steroids?
