    I've heard that they decrease both the quantity and quality of sperm. It's not a foolproof birth control method, but it does reduce your chances of getting a girl pregnant

    I've also heard that the reduction in sperm quality could lead to a slightly higher incidence of birth defects in babies conceived while on. I don't want to reiterate propaganda, and I don't remember where/when I heard that, so I can't really say if its that true or not. Maybe somebody else that's knowledgable about the subject can contribute

    One thing to keep in mind is that it takes 2.5-3 months for the body to make sperm.

    Here are some clips from some abstracts of scientific studies for you;

    Monthly injections of testosterone undecanoate (TU) act as a male contraceptive by reversibly suppressing spermatogenesis to azoospermia or severe oligoazoospermia in 95% of Chinese men. In 5% of Chinese men, however, monthly TU administered alone fails to suppress spermatogenesis into contraceptive ranges, or sperm "rebound," leading to occurrences of pregnancy during treatment.

    Exogenously administered testosterone functions as a contraceptive in the male by suppressing the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary. After 2 to 3 months of treatment, low levels of FSH and LH lead to markedly decreased sperm concentrations. This approach to contraceptive development appears safe and fully reversible, however, sperm concentrations are not suppressed to zero in all men. Therefore, researchers have combined testosterone with progestins to further suppress pituitary gonadotropins and optimize contraceptive efficacy.

    The proportion of men who achieved azoospermia varied widely in reports to date. Few significant differences emerged from these trials. Levonorgestrel implants combined with injectable testosterone enanthate (100 mg IM) was significantly more effective than was levonorgestrel 125 mcg by mouth daily combined with testosterone patches (10 mg/d) (OR for azoospermia with the oral levonorgestrel regimen 0.03; 95%CI 0.00-0.29). The addition of levonorgestrel 500 mcg by mouth daily improved the effectiveness of testosterone enanthate 100 mg IM weekly by itself (OR for azoospermia with the combined regimen 4.0; 95%CI 1.00-15.99). Several regimens, including testosterone alone and GnRH agonists and antagonists, had disappointing results. REVIEWERS' CONCLUSIONS: No male hormonal contraceptive is ready for clinical use. All trials published to date have been small exploratory studies. As a result, their power to detect important differences has been limited and their results imprecise.

    There are many studies concerning this type of research, but most are quite small. If you want the references to the above snipets, let me know

    tren is more likely to decrease fertility.

    nandrolone is used as birth control in Australia and several other countries.

    Test alone has been found to be innefective.

    use of aromatase inhibitors, SERMS (clomid etc) and some others drugs can make you fertile when otherwise you would not be.

    As much research as I found, I still would NEVER trust it as a birth control method, as a friend of mine who had been on for years at a time now has 4 lil girls all of which occured while taking gear.
