slin pin question

I forgot to ask this the other day. What size slin pin are you supposed to use for hcg? I looked at some last night and I noticed there were
three different gauges. I always thought there were just one gauge.

Also, varying opinions here.

testc can you draw and pin with a 25g, is that cool?

I've always used a 18 draw, when viewed under a microscope you'd be amazed how much the body tissue dulls the the needle......I am convinced the rubber stopper isn't much better at dulling it.

Where I am amazed is how fucking cheap these bastards are....just buy a box of 18's with your 23's, 25's or whatever you use.

From a sterile stand point you're one up using a brand new spike to enter your body....win-win for another 10 bucks.

Exactly what CFM said. I am switching to 22g to draw instead of 18 to try to keep the rubber good longer. Use two different pins, no reason not to.

I actually like 23g for glutes much better than the 25g I have been using, with the 23g I can feel the needle go through the fat and hit the muscle so I know I am gtg.

Check out RUI they have slin pins. Any of them is fine. As far as the test. I use a 23 to draw, i would use an 18 but really tears up the rubber stopper as rowdy said.
