Red swollen lump from test prop
What's going on?
I'm taking 100ml EOD test prop for part of my cutting cycle, first injection yesterday.
Quick stats: 6'1'' 25yrs old 260lbs 14%BF working out 8+yrs.
I used 1" needle to proceed with the injection and also this is not my first cycle, only for test prop. I Injected in the quad area, everything was sterile and the injection was nice and slow ( I love to see the need enter my limbs slowly) Drew back to make sure there was no blood then I slowly injected, Then let the needle set for a few seconds before I pulled it out... pretty painless. I believe I forgot to massage afterwards. Later on that day (sunday) was a slight pinch pain, no biggie. I woke up today and headed out for work. still the same pain, no biggie... Then I went to take a shit then that's when I realize that I have this red swollen lump (See pic) around the inject site. It was pretty warm once I put my hand on it and hurt to touch a little bit. Then I took some Ibuprofen and in about 15 mins the pain disappeared. I felt no pain at all when walking and doing my work and it's not as sensitive even when I touch it, just a very little pain and warm feeling. I hope this isn't a infection, I'm looking to go to the doctor tomorrow, I can't live the anticipation down with waiting for 2-3 days, It looks like it got a little bigger and it still don't hurt even as I type now.
Based of the detail given and the picture what do you guys think it is? Infection or not?
