"Breaking scar tissue"- What does it mean?

Hello!

I had several treatments of deep tissue massage- because i heard it helps the body to "get rid" of scar tissues.
From what i know it means to "spread" the scar...
Can it be actually dissolved?


And one more question- If there are enzymes that can break the scar tissue, it is good for the muscles? I mean, if (and i don't know if it's really true) It will disappear- There will be "holes" between the muscle fibers/ cells, Isn't it? Or it can be connected again?

deep tissue massages are usually beneficial for breaking up adhesions (or knots) in the muscle tissue stemming from overactivity of a muscle, injury, or both. you can achieve the same result using a foam-roll on overactive muscles and by static stretching to lengthen overactive muscles.

when you place stress on your body or muscles, they adapt to the stress by tearing and thus becoming stronger. there will be no "holes" in your muscle fibers.

you can break down keloid scars but not sure about injection scar tissue. i had a keloid scar on my stomach from a bike accident when i was younger. work it often and the material inside will break down. still looks like a scar tho just no knot underneath.

So, with a good treatment the scar tissue will be disapeared and a natural tissue will be build insted of it?
My happend in the Trapezius and my neck, so i really hope (and believe) that it will heal, because this area is really important.

just keep working it giving it pressure, almost pinching the scar tissue and you should see some improvement.

i don't know if it will develop normal tissue instead of scar tissue but it will appear normal (no lumps) though if its scarred on the surface it will still be lightly discolored as normal scars are.
