Shit, Flonase is a corticosteroid with a propionate ester on the 17th carbon. That's some bad shit.

I can't believe people would take catabolic steroids in order to just relieve themselves of alergies. I was reading all about over-usage, on a little pamphlet that was advertising flonase, and it can lead to suppression of the HPA axis (hypothalamic - pituitary - adrenal axis), which can fuck up your seritonin, and adrenaline levels.

Most people don't concern themselves with catabolism....it's obviously relevant to us, but to "common" people, it's not something they consider.

Suppression of the adrenals would be after prolonged use of a corticosteroid...not typical durations of use

Yeah, it's just crazy to think, though. Any time someone goes to the doc with a bee sting, he gives them a pretty big catabolic shot.

Corticosteroids have their place in medicine, and sometimes can't be avoided. Usually they are cycled and fine to use unless on for a very long time.
