 Injecting into a tattoo
Can you do this or does anyone do it? I would be concerned that it might mess it up.

Well you aren't injecting the Tattoo it's self... just the muscle under it... I would say you are good barring an infected injection site... also I wouldn't do it if the Tatty is new.... other then that I say go ahead

ehh... maybe you should find another spot.... if you said 6 month or even four... but 2 months there could still be scabs and it might not have fully healed at the skin

there are many injection sites to use...just pick another, no point in taking a chance with something thats stuck with you for the rest of your days

You don't notice anything at all as far as the tat getting messed up or anything?

You have nothing to worry about. You have about 7 layers of skin. When you get a Tattoo; the needles only go through the first 2 to 4 layers of skin. Once healed, usually in 2 to 4 weeks, the pigments of the Tattoo Ink become apart of the pigments of your skin; ( The tattoo becomes a part of you. ) So as with an injection, you are going through the skin ( Tattoo ) and into the muscle.

no problem hitting a tat.
I have on both delts, never been a problem.
And I like hitting my delts.
But wait until the skin has healed, if the tat is very new.

I have hit my tats as well, with no problem. It does hurt more on the tat that was recolored awhile back. I think it might have more scar tissue there is all.

TATTOOS ARE ONLY SKIN DEEP ..... you are going IM w/ the pin.....

LOL exactly, your not injecting into the tattoo your injecting beyond the tatto, beyond skin, it might hurt more because of obvious reasons, my advice would be not to take a needless risk, if your out of sites then go ahead but in the future it shouldnt effect you negatively.

i agree, why risk the damage to the tat if infection occurs, you've ruined a perfectly good tatoo...
