i've tried an 8 week insulin cycle a year ago. I basically took it after my workouts(10iu's) and then within 15min. drank a dextrose drink or a can of pepsi(yeah i know it's not the ideal drink). I took it only once a day after my workouts. In total, I only took 4 shots a week(which were the days I trained).
Any comment in regards to the way I should take slin(humulin R) the next time?
Should I take a dextrose drink(kool-aid with at least 60g of dextrose) post workouts? Then should I take a high protein meal after an hour? Does that sound good or is there something more optimal?
