One of the more popular and well-known orals one can take is named Dianabol. There are often many questions on how to use and when to take ‘Dbol.’
Liver toxicity is a major concern when taking orals, but with proper dosing and protection, it is unlikely any harmful situations should come about. A common dose can range from 20mg everyday (ED) to 50mg+ ED. The higher the dose means the shorter duration of use. For those who are looking for benefits in the 20mg ED range they can feel safe running Dbol for around 8 weeks. Proper blood work should be taken to minimize the risk and keep in mind that this is of course a guideline. Those looking for more pronounced benefits, namely pure size and strength you can get away with running around 40mg ED for 3-6 weeks.
Timing will play an important role with this drug due to its 6-8 hour half-life. For those that are looking for mainly strength increases they will benefit from taking the majority of their daily dose before a workout or an hour or so before. This will not translate just for strength gains, but will be better than spreading the dose throughout the day. So how should someone dose Dianabol? Other users may chose to take 5-10mg every few hours to keep a steady stream of the drug in their system and this will lead a person to being more anabolic. But there can be a compromise as users can also benefit from taking a large portion of their daily dose pre-workout and the rest a few hours after a workout. Of course the only disadvantage to this route is that there is not as steady a reservoir of the drug in your system throughout the day. Also you get the best of both worlds by getting a great workout and being very anabolic post-workout. This will help in muscle recovery when it is most important, after a workout, and when you should be getting in the majority of your high protein meals.
Care for your liver
Be sure to keep a good track of your blood work to make sure blood levels remain in a reasonable and healthy range. Although liver toxicity is generally over-stressed, it still is an issue that needs to be addressed. In such, a liver support supplement such as NAC is a great addition to any cycle containing a liver-harsh drug. Keep in mind that high amounts of water around 2 gallons per day, should be consumed daily with Dianabol and other orals. Sodium intake should also be monitored more carefully due to the fact that it increases water retention and bloat. Alcohol should be avoided at all costs.
As far as to what to expect you should feel the effects within the first week of beginning the regimen. Increased blood pressure and intensity are very common, and rapid weight gain within the first two weeks are also very common, but don’t sell yourself short as most of this gain is water based. The “real” gains will begin to show more or less after the first few weeks once your body is able to synthesize more protein more effectively and thus increased lean body mass. Remember that strength increase is a major side effect of this drug. So you should pay extra attention on the new weight they are lifting in order to minimize risk of injury of the tendons and ligaments because the tendons and ligaments do not grow in conjunction with the muscles, so as your muscles continue to grow, you are putting more and more pressure on the same tendons and ligaments.
Use in a stack
As far as gains and keeping them remember that Dianabol only cycles are generally a bad idea, as it is assumed you are using test as a base for this cycle. To run test for a longer duration than the Dbol is basically a good idea as your body is still very anabolic and as such, the ability to keep new muscle is increased. Just remember that this is just a general rule of thumb and does not equate to holding onto any portion of your gains as there are many factors involved.
Another factor, and probably the biggest and most important factor, is diet. Diet during your dbol use and after will be the biggest determining factor on what and how much you gain and what you hold on to. Also expect to lose between 5 or so pounds once the dbol is out of your system. Basically bloat and water that you initially put on. Your post-dbol diet should not differ too much than when you were taking dbol, but if you increase your calories and protein slightly it will be a good idea. You will need to eat at your new weight to stay in tip top shape. So if you were originally 190lbs and now you’re 210lbs, you need to eat like a 210 pounder to stay at 210lbs.
All said and done Dianabol is a great compound and should meet every one of your expectations, but remember that it is not perfect and considerations need to be taken based on your goals and what you want out of it. In such for you to get the most from it, you need to know what is going on and what you need to do to maximize your results and always keep in mind that you will have to do the work and not expect it to do the work for you.
